EAST-WEST IMPEX LTD
EAST -WEST IMPEX LTD was
incorporated in 1995 by the Share-holders/Directors of ARENCO Trade Ltd
specially for the purpose of segregating the import and export activities from
the parent company. Since then the company has been importing various consumer
and household products for sales and distribution in the domestic market.
After the fast few years of moderate
imports, the company's business started registering a significant growth. Not
only did the import volume rise sharply but also the items of import were
multiplied. Within a short span of time the Furniture for home and office
imported by the Company and marketed under the name & style of EURO-ASIAN
FURNITURE set a new trend in the market and earned the confidence of a large
number of customers for it's latest world class design, quality and standard.
So far Malaysia and Thailand have been the company's principal sources of
supply of furniture.
To take advantage of the goodwill and
popularity earned by the Euro-Asian Furniture and make use of the growing
market potential, East-West Impex Ltd extended its focus and attention to
Electronic Home Appliances. China considered to be the best source of
procurement. But taking a long term view, the Company decided to establish its
own brand instead of a Chinese brand. Accordingly, the procurement of Air
Conditioners, Refrigerators, Colour Televisions, Washing Machines and other
Electronic Home Appliances began under TROPICA brand OEM arrangement with the
Chinese Suppliers of high repute and credibility.
